Connie Zimmerman, Ph.D.
Hello. I am Dr. Connie Zimmerman. I am a clinical psychologist and I have been doing psychological testing with Dr. Schwartzburd and his forensic practice since 1998. In my role as testing psychologist, I work face to face and one on one with clients using a variety of the most up-to-date psychological tests and assessment tools. I am acutely aware that psychological testing is typically a new experience for most people and can be intimidating. As a result, I try to be very sensitive to the comfort level and needs of our clients, and work as a team with our clients to achieve an accurate assessment in a supportive environment.
In addition to the psychological testing work, I also have a specialty in psychotherapy case management and my services are available to organizations for that purpose.
In addition to my work at the Berkeley Institute of Behavioral Health and Psychological Services, I am married and a mom to two school-age children. I live in San Diego, but commute to work in Berkeley because I enjoy what I do and I like working with Dr. Schwartzburd and the rest of the staff at the Berkeley Institute.
